Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via unrestricted path
Published Nov 7, 2022 · Updated May 5, 2025
Arbitrary file deletion in Sanitization Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete server files via a crafted request. The delete_img action in /classes/Master.php accepts a caller-supplied path and deletes the referenced file without restricting it to an intended upload. A valid administrative session is required, and deletion is limited by the web-server process's filesystem permissions but can remove application files.
