Stored script execution via unsanitized KPI titles
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Stored XSS in the KPI Add function in Eramba GRC Software c2.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a Dashboard viewer's browser. The KPI Title field stores unsanitized HTML and JavaScript, then the Dashboard renders that value as active page content. An authorized account must submit the payload, and another user must view the Dashboard; resulting script execution can read or alter data available to that user's session.
