Authenticated SQL injection via stateedit query parameter
Published Nov 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Human Resource Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries via stateedit. The /hrm/state.php handler passes the stateedit query value into an SQL statement without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax, as demonstrated by error-based and time-delay payloads. A valid PHP session is required; successful injection executes attacker-supplied SQL expressions, while the published proof demonstrates only query errors and a ten-second database delay.
