Authenticated script execution via tampered profile field
Published Dec 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored XSS in Inhabit Systems Move CRM 4 build 260 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser. The staff-settings handler accepts a tampered lProfileCopy value in the profile POST request, relying on bypassable front-end filtering before storing it. An authenticated user must save a crafted profile and another user must view the stored content; execution is confined to that viewer's CRM browser context.
