PHP object injection in Hiroaki Miyashita Custom Field Template before 2.5.8 allows remote authenticated users to invoke object methods. The Import Options handler passes uploaded Customizer Styling file content to PHP deserialization without restricting object creation. A high-privilege WordPress account and a suitable gadget chain already present on the site are required; resulting effects follow that chain.
