Database disclosure via crafted order identifier
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
SQL injection in Canteen Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted order identifier. The fetchOrderData.php endpoint accepts a UNION SELECT payload in the orderId POST value and returns the database name through the field identified as userid. The published request includes a super-administrator session cookie, so exploitation requires an administrator session and exposes only the database name in the demonstration.
