Database disclosure via booking ID SQL injection
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
SQL injection in Simple Cold Storage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id. The booking-detail handler passes the id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the database name in the response. Access requires a Super Admin session, and the published demonstration confirms disclosure of the active database name rather than broader database compromise.
