SQL injection via unsanitized orderId query parameter
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
SQL injection in Billing System Project 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the orderId parameter. fetchOrderData.php places the orderId request value into an SQL query without adequate neutralization, so supplied SQL syntax changes the query's meaning. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can read, alter, or delete data available to the application's database account.
