Stored XSS via unneutralized global variable value
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025
Stored XSS in Rukovoditel 3.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser through a global variable. The Global Variables Create action stores the Value parameter and later renders it as active HTML without neutralizing embedded script handlers. An account that can create a global variable and a victim who views the resulting content are required, enabling actions in the victim's session.
