Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Canteen Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted PHP file. The image-upload function accepts a PHP file as an image and leaves it executable by the web server; no route or validation logic is public. Administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied PHP code in the web application's server context.
