Browser script execution via unneutralized cmddept input
Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Password Storage Application 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via cmddept. The add-fee.php workflow accepts cmddept through /psa_php/api.php?action=save and places crafted HTML or script markup into a browser-executable context without neutralization. A victim must view the affected content; injected code then runs in the application's origin and can read or modify browser-accessible data.
