Authenticated script execution via unneutralized cmddept output
Published Nov 1, 2022 · Updated May 5, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Web-Based Student Clearance System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The /admin/add-fee.php handler places the cmddept parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing script-capable markup. Administrator access and interaction by another user are required; successful exploitation exposes or alters data available to that user's session.
