Data disclosure via importID SQL injection
Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
SQL injection in OpenCATS v0.9.6 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the importID parameter. The Import viewerrors function incorporates the untrusted importID value into a SQL statement without adequate neutralization, enabling attacker-controlled query manipulation. Exploitation requires a valid account that can reach the Import interface and is bounded to the database privileges available to the application; NVD reports confidentiality impact without integrity or availability impact.
