Client-side script execution via reflected indexFile
Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 15, 2025
Reflected XSS in OpenCATS 0.9.6 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted indexFile value. The getPipelineJobOrder request to ajax.php returns the indexFile query parameter in an HTML response without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted request, after which the script runs in the OpenCATS origin and can read or alter data available to that session.
