Cleartext credential storage in the PassWork extension 5.0.9 allows remote attackers to read cached credentials from browser localStorage. The extension stores its credential cache in localStorage without encryption; PassWork identifies localStorage encryption as the correction. No authentication or user interaction is required, but published sources do not identify the network request or code path that exposes the cache.
