Unauthenticated code execution via exec-built table queries
Published Oct 13, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
Code injection in Linaro Automated Validation Architecture before 2022.10 allows remote attackers to execute code on the server. The lava_server/lavatable.py table-search path forms Python source strings from request search parameters and passes them to exec(). Anonymous access to an affected table-search request is sufficient, granting arbitrary execution in the lava-server-gunicorn service context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
