Out-of-bounds reads in MicroStation before 10.17.01.58 and Bentley View before 10.17.01.19 allow attackers to execute code via FBX files. The FBX parser reads beyond a buffer boundary when processing maliciously crafted file data; Bentley does not identify the responsible function or field. A user must open the file in an affected desktop application, after which code runs in the current process or process memory is disclosed.
