System takeover via connection parameter injection
Published Oct 12, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
Command injection in Array Networks AG/vxAG before 9.4.0.469 allows remote attackers to gain privileged control of the SSL VPN gateway. The server-connection reuse and long-lived connection function passes attacker-supplied parameter content into a gateway command without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication is required; successful exploitation elevates privileges and permits system control, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and service availability.
