Arbitrary JavaScript execution via reflected CGI parameters
Published Feb 14, 2023 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in Automation Runtime 3.00 through C4.93 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through System Diagnostics Manager. The cgiFileLoop.cgi service parameter and svg.cgi index parameter are returned to browser content without neutralizing script-bearing values. Exploitation requires a user to visit a crafted controller URL, allowing script execution that can modify or steal information in that user's browser session.
