An out-of-bounds read in the UNISOC WLAN driver on affected Android 10–12 chipsets allows local users to disrupt WLAN services. The firmware reads beyond a buffer because it omits a bounds check, but UNISOC does not identify the affected routine or triggering input. Local access is required; published assessments disagree on whether low privileges or user interaction is also required, and the documented consequence is limited to WLAN-service denial.
