Local WLAN DoS via missing bounds check
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Unisoc WLAN driver on Android 10, 11, and 12 allows local users to cause denial of service in WLAN services. The driver fails to check input bounds before processing WLAN data, allowing an out-of-range write in WLAN service handling. An attacker needs local low-privilege access and no user interaction; impact is service interruption without confidentiality or integrity loss.
