Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized id parameter
Published Dec 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in /Default/Bd in Background Management System allows remote authenticated users to read or write database data via id. The endpoint incorporates the id argument into an SQL command without correctly neutralizing SQL syntax, so crafted input changes the query. Low-privileged application access is required under the CNA assessment, and exploitation can also interrupt the database-backed service.
