Local denial of service via missing bounds check
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
A bounds-checking flaw in the Unisoc WLAN driver for Android 10 through 12 allows local users to interrupt WLAN services. The driver processes malformed WLAN data without validating length boundaries, allowing an out-of-range operation that disrupts WLAN services. Triggering the condition requires local access to the device; published material describes denial of service without confidentiality or integrity impact.
