Path traversal in Siemens Healthineers syngo Dynamics before VA40G HF01 allows remote attackers to write server-accessible files. An application-server web-service operation accepts an attacker-controlled file path without enforcing write boundaries, reaching any folder writable by its IIS application-pool account. The unauthenticated service is intended for trusted clinical-network nodes, and writes remain limited to paths available to that account.
