Script execution via unescaped de-text parameter
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in Speak Digital Bulk Delete Users by Email 1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted link. The administrative page writes the de-text query parameter into its textarea without sanitization or output escaping, so a closing textarea tag injects attacker-controlled markup. Execution requires a logged-in administrator to open the crafted URL, and the script runs in that user's WordPress browser context.
