Authenticated object injection via unvalidated class parameter
Published Mar 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
PHP object injection in Postmatic Replyable before 2.2.10 allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through an AJAX request. The prompt_dismiss_notice action instantiates the unvalidated class request parameter and performs no CSRF check. Subscriber access is sufficient; alternatively, a forged request can target any logged-in user, while file deletion, data disclosure, or code execution requires a usable POP chain from another installed component.
