Authenticated SQL injection via improper Alerts input validation
Published May 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in the Alerts controller in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 22.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to run SQL queries. The controller passes improperly validated alert input to the web application's DBMS, where the input is interpreted as SQL rather than data. Web management credentials are required, and successful exploitation exposes arbitrary information stored in the application database.
