LDAP injection in SSSD 1.15.3 through 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to influence certificate-to-account mapping. sss_certmap_get_search_filter inserts expanded certificate subject and issuer values into LDAP filters without escaping LDAP metacharacters. Exploitation requires a nondefault FreeIPA PKINIT certificate-mapping configuration; manipulated results can select an administrator account and enable domain takeover.
