Local information disclosure via unchecked RTP threshold
Published Dec 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
An out-of-bounds read in Google Pixel's rild_exynos component allows local users with System privileges to disclose memory contents. MiscService::DoOemSetRtpPktlossThreshold in miscservice.cpp fails to validate a packet-loss threshold before reading beyond a buffer boundary. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges and no user interaction; the documented consequence is limited to information disclosure.
