Browser script execution via unescaped booking ID
Published Dec 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Movie Ticket Booking System booking.php allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted id parameter. At line 111, booking.php writes the request-controlled $id value directly into the value attribute of a hidden movie_id input without HTML escaping. A victim must open the crafted URL; the injected script then runs in the site's browser origin and can read browser-accessible data or alter page content.
