CVE-2022-42473

Database disclosure via passwordless privileged account

Published Nov 2, 2022 · Updated Oct 22, 2024

Missing authentication in Fortinet FortiSOAR 6.4.0 through 6.4.4, 7.0.0 through 7.0.3, and 7.2.0 allows local users to disclose database data. A privileged database account has no password, so the database accepts a login without authenticating that account and exposes stored information. Low-privileged local access to the FortiSOAR host is required; the published impact is limited to disclosure of database information.
