Authenticated arbitrary post deletion via unchecked ID
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
IDOR in AmentoTech Workreap before 2.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary posts through an AJAX request. The workreap_addons_service_remove action accepts a caller-controlled post ID without confirming that the target is an add-on service owned by that caller. Subscriber-level access and a valid security nonce suffice; guessing a post ID permits deletion of that post.
