Information disclosure via U3D buffer over-read
Published Jan 26, 2023 · Updated Apr 1, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in U3D parsing in Tracker Software Products PDF-XChange Editor 9.4.363.0 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory. The U3D parser processes crafted file data without enforcing the allocated buffer boundary and reads beyond the end of that buffer. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; code execution requires chaining with another vulnerability.
