Sensitive memory disclosure via embedded-font bounds read
Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 22.002.20212 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Embedded-font parsing reads past an allocated buffer when crafted font data is processed, enabling memory disclosure and mitigation bypass such as ASLR disclosure. Exploitation requires a victim to open the malicious file, and the documented impact is information disclosure rather than code execution by this issue alone.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
