Guest-triggered service crash via wrong pointer use

Invalid pointer use in C Xenstore in Xen allows guest OS users to crash xenstored through a controllable node-creation error path. During node creation, the C implementation's error handling uses the wrong pointer after a guest exceeds its per-domain node quota, corrupting memory or terminating xenstored. Only hosts running xenstored or xenstore-stubdom with the XSA-115 fix are affected; a crash blocks new guest creation and running-guest configuration changes.
