Link following in NVIDIA GeForce Experience before 3.27.0.112 allows local users to modify protected files through NVContainer. NVContainer follows a symbolic link created by an unprivileged user when writing with elevated rights, redirecting the write to a protected file. Local low-privileged access and user interaction are required; the redirected write can tamper with limited data, interrupt service, or elevate privileges.
