Authenticated file disclosure via REST API path traversal
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
Path traversal in NVIDIA DGX A100 BMC firmware before 00.19.07 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. The SPX REST API fails to confine attacker-controlled file paths to an authorized directory, permitting traversal outside the intended path. Low-privileged BMC credentials and network access to the management interface are required; the documented impact is file-content disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
