Authenticated code execution via SPX REST command injection
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
OS command injection in NVIDIA DGX A100 BMC firmware before 00.19.07 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via the SPX REST API. The SPX REST API fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in attacker-controlled input before invoking a shell command. Administrative BMC access is required, and successful injection can read or alter data or interrupt BMC-managed services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
