Improper access control in SBIOS SmiFlash on NVIDIA DGX A100 before 1.18 allows local users with elevated privileges to alter flash. The SmiFlash component permits an elevated local user to read, write, and erase SBIOS flash without the intended access restriction. Successful exploitation requires high local privileges and can execute code, disclose firmware data, interrupt service, or extend compromise to other components.
