Buffer overflow in the NVIDIA DGX A100 BMC IPMI handler before 00.19.07 allows local users to execute code or crash the controller. NVIDIA identifies the IPMI handler as the locus but has not disclosed the affected command, buffer, or unchecked copy operation. Local access to the BMC interface is required; exploitation can execute code in the controller context or interrupt hardware management by crashing it.
