Use of an out-of-range pointer offset in NVIDIA vGPU Software 14.3, 13.5, and 11.10 and earlier allows local users to read or alter data. The Linux kernel-mode display-driver layer uses a pointer offset that falls outside the intended memory range. A regular unprivileged local account is required, and the published impact is limited to information disclosure, data tampering, or data loss.
