Data exposure or service interruption via out-of-bounds read
Published Dec 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in NVIDIA vGPU Software through 14.3, 13.5, and 11.10 allows local users to disclose or alter data or interrupt service. The nvidia.ko kernel-mode layer accesses an array outside its bounds, although NVIDIA has not disclosed the array, input path, or operation. Local low-privilege access is required, and NVIDIA has not identified whether service interruption manifests as a hang or crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=All versions prior to and including 14.2, 13.4, and 11.9, and all versions prior to the November 2022 release
