Authenticated database disclosure via inquiry ID injection
Published Oct 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Cold Storage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose the database name through the inquiry ID. The admin/inquiries/view_details.php handler accepts SQL syntax in the id query parameter, and the database evaluates an error-based updatexml expression. A valid administrator session is required, and the published request shows the database name returned through the resulting SQL error.
