Authenticated database disclosure via storage ID injection
Published Oct 6, 2022 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Cold Storage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The view_storage.php handler incorporates the id query parameter into a MySQL statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid administrator session is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates disclosure of the active database name through a MySQL error response.
