Database disclosure via unsanitized storage identifier
Published Oct 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Cold Storage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The storage editor in admin/storages/manage_storage.php incorporates the id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing an injected updatexml expression to expose the database name through an error. The request requires Super Administrator access; successful injection reads or modifies database contents and interrupts database-backed operations.
