Database disclosure via injectable loan identifier
Published Oct 18, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025
SQL injection in Open Source SACCO Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted loan ID. manage_loan.php incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, so a UNION SELECT payload changes the executed statement. Access requires a valid Super Admin session, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database disclosure through the loan-management endpoint.
