Authenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Oct 20, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Simple Exam Reviewer Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the admin interface. The system-information page accepts arbitrary site-logo or cover files and stores uploaded PHP content where the web server can execute it. Administrator access is required to reach the upload controls; successful abuse enables server-side code execution or persistent script injection.
