Question deletion via nonce-free administrative request
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Chained Quiz 1.3.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete quiz questions via a forged request. The list_questions() function processes question-management requests without validating a WordPress nonce before performing deletion. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an active session to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized removal of quiz questions.
