Unauthenticated internal resource access via arbitrary proxy URL
Published Jul 31, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Server-side request forgery in Precisely Spectrum Spatial Analyst 20.01 allows remote attackers to access unintended network resources. The externalTileServiceProxy endpoint accepts an arbitrary REQUEST_URL value, fetches that destination server-side, and embeds its response without restricting the target. No authentication or user interaction is required, exposing resources reachable from the application server.
