SQL injection in Liferay Portal 7.3.7 and Liferay DXP 7.3 fix pack 2 through update 4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL. The Friendly URL upgrade process incorporates a crafted title field into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. Network access without authentication is sufficient to manipulate database queries, enabling unauthorized reads, writes, or deletion of application data.
